Inner work is a public service.
Hi, my name is Nikkisa, and I’m a recovering perfectionist. I used to try (very hard) to control the world around me. But now I believe that only after self-mastery can we even begin to contribute to our expanding concentric circles of our family, friends, neighbors and finally, to the the global community.
Today, I strive for tiny, daily personal acts of refinement with a generous supply of grace and patience. Whether it's an outdated chair that needs a new lease on life, an old idea begging to be revisited with a new perspective, or a way of being which warrants reexamination, Tiny ReFinery is where it all takes place, among like and unlike-minded friends.
Stephen Covey once said, "I think the most significant work we'll do in our whole life, in our whole world is done within the four walls of our home." Will tiny acts emanating from these four walls ripple out to the greater community? ¯\_(“)_/¯ Let's explore the possibilities.
Inward, onward and upward.
Tiny ReFinery
NOUN. An unconventional design studio and salon celebrating vintage furniture, art & community.
ORIGIN from "tiny personal acts of refinement,"; also related to reinstating "finery" as in the restoration of fine vintage furniture.
